Kim Eads Honored by Governor Inslee

Governor Jay Inslee awarded 21 state agency managers the Governor’s Award for Leadership in Management including WSDA’s Kim Eads.

Eads is the manager for food assistance and farm donation programs along with the farm to school and farm to early education programs. In a press release announcing the awards, Eads was applauded because, “Through her collaborative leadership with stakeholders, donations guidelines were developed for community donors and food banks.”

Inslee said the 21 recipients represent the best in state government and that, “These annual awards acknowledge that a large part of our state’s success is owed to our public service leaders, who set the bar high for excellence in management and customer service."
