Idaho Counties Designated Natural Disaster Areas

USDA has designated nine eastern Idaho counties as primary natural disaster areas because of severe drought conditions. The designation makes producers in Bannock, Bingham, Bonneville, Butte, Caribou, Franklin, Fremont, Jefferson and Madison counties eligible to apply for low-interest emergency loans through the FSA. The loans can help farmers and ranchers replace livestock or equipment, reorganize their operations or refinance certain debts as they recover from drought losses.
