As work continues on the 2018 Farm Bill, the House Ag Committee has launched a website landing page for anyone who is looking to keep up with the progress.

Committee Chairman Michael Conaway said they’ve spent the past three years preparing for the new farm bill and want people to see what they’re doing.

“This is intended to be an all-in-one spot that anybody who wants to keep up with our work on the Farm Bill over the next several months as we move it across the House floor, then this will be the place to go.”

The website will have the history, the progress and when the bill is done, the text of the bill itself.

Conaway said the impact of the Farm Bill will be far reaching.

“You can just see how important the Farm Bill is, not just to the farmers and ranchers, producers and implement dealers and the lenders; but it’s important to you and I as consumers of the most abundant and safest, affordable food supply of any developed nation in the world.”

You can keep up with the latest on the House Ag Committee's Farm Bill website.
