Hop Stock Down 13% from 2025

USDA released it’s March 1st hop stocks this week, which shows a 13% year over year drop.

The inventory of hops held by growers, dealers, and brewers on March 1st totaled 147 million pounds, off from the 169 million pounds reported to March 2025.  Meanwhile, stocks held at dealer and grower locations to start this month totaled 127 million pounds, and stocks held by brewers totaled 20.0 million pounds.

The March 1st hop stocks have steadily declining for several years, reporting year-over-year drops starting in 2023.
