
Highbush Blueberry Council Looking To Fill WA, OR Positions
The U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council is taking nominations now to fill state member and alternate positions for the 2026 to 2028 term. Eight state member and alternate seats need to be filled for the term starting January 1, 2026. To be eligible, nominees must have produced 2,000 pounds or more of highbush blueberries in the U.S between January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024.
Nominations for seven state positions representing Oregon, Washington, as well as California, Georgia, New Jersey, Michigan and North Carolina will be completed by their respective state blueberry councils and commissions. Reach out directly to your state commission if you are interested in serving.
