Farmers Market Minute: Great American Farmers Market

Last week, Ag Secretary Brooke Rollins kicked off a year-long celebration leading up to next year’s 250th anniversary of the United States.

“We will have in August the biggest, most amazing American farmers market in the history of our country in Washington, on the National Mall,” the Secretary noted. 

Rollins says the August 3rd-6th event will include market opportunities for producers and vendors from all 50 states.

“Every farmer, every rancher, every producer from every state who sell their beautiful crops and their products and their pork and their beef to join us in Washington during National Farmers Market Week.”
