Farm Equipment Sales Fall Across North America In September
Sales of agricultural tractors and combines declined in both the United States and Canada in September compared with the same month a year earlier.
According to new data from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, U.S. tractor sales were down 16.4% from September 2025, while combine sales fell 10.9%. In Canada, tractor sales declined 15.1% and combine sales dropped 37.6% from year-ago levels. The monthly sales figures reflect continuing softness in the North American farm equipment market amid economic pressures facing agricultural producers.
The report did not provide additional details on factors contributing to the declines.
The Association of Equipment Manufacturers released the data as part of its regular reporting on agricultural equipment sales trends in the United States and Canada. The organization said full reports detailing tractor and combine sales are available through its latest market update.
