Washington’s East Low Canal To Get Water Starting Late March

The East Columbia Basin Irrigation District will begin filling the East Low Canal for the irrigation season on Tuesday, March 24th.  The East Low serves the Moses Lake, Warden, Connell and Othello areas.

Deliveries from the East Low Canal should be available starting March 30th.  Meanwhile, deliveries to Block 49, from the Potholes East Canal will be available starting March 23rd.  Irrigation deliveries will depend on demand in individual lateral systems.

When orders are sufficient, ECBID says pump plants will start up for the year.
