For the first time this year, dry conditions have been reported across the Northwest.  According to the USDA, 33% of Oregon is considered Abnormally Dry.  That is much improved from this time last year, where the entire Beaver state was in the Abnormally Dry category.  The Dry conditions stretch from Wallowa County to Burns, and west to Bend.

As far as Washington is concerned, 10% of the state is considered Abnormally Dry.  Much of that is a swath of the center of the stat stretching from the Oregon boarder north to Wenatchee, as well as extreme Southeast Washington.

Despite recent warm temperatures, and weeks without miserable rain, the Northwest remains free of a drought designation.
