Donovan Named Head Of WSFMA

The Washington State Farmers Market Association announced this week that Colleen Donovan has become the organization's new Executive Director.  WSFMA officials say Donovan brings a deep appreciation and understanding of the farmers market world to the organization.

She attended graduate school at the University of Washington in 1998.  In 2003, she moved to Ellensburg to work with the Pacific NW regional programs for Heifer International and started partnering with King County, WSDA, Washington State University, local non-profits, and small farms dedicated to community-based, just food systems.

Donovan has served on the WSFMA board of directors for six years.​
