Fuel prices are unchanged as we prepare to say goodbye to 2017.  Latest figures place the national average for a gallon of diesel at $2.83, down less than one cent in the past week.  Washington's average head steady at $3.14 a gallon while Oregon's diesel price was unchanged at $2.99 a gallon.

While the upper mid-west and northeast were recently pounded by cold weather and snow, the winter  systems have not impacted fuel prices at this point.  However, that could change as we move into 2018.

Local gasoline prices have decreased over the past week, by an average of 2.5 cents, while the national average for gas bumped up one cent.

As far as local diesel prices are concerned:

  • $3.03 a gallon in Tri-Cities
  • $3.09 a gallon in Walla Walla
  • $2.99 a gallon in Yakima
  • $3.05 a gallon in Wenatchee
  • $2.89 a gallon in Moses Lake
  • $2.77 a gallon in Pendleton
