Diesel Prices Stabilize While Gas Price Drop

Fuel prices, maybe stabilizing across the Northwest.  According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of diesel held steady at $2.73 a gallon, Washington’s average dropped one cent to $3.11 a gallon, while Oregon’s price held at $2.94 a gallon. This comes as gasoline prices fell roughly a nickel across the region.

Experts attributed refineries back on line that were impacted following Hurricane Harvey, as well as the transition to winter blends of fuel.  The expectation is that oil inventories should remain in the foreseeable future, meaning fuel prices will continue a slow decline.

Here are some of the lowest diesel prices we could find across the Inland Northwest:

• $2.91 a gallon in the Tri-Cities
• $2.99 a gallon in Walla Walla
• $2.97 a gallon in Yakima
• $3.09 a gallon in Quincy
• $2.99 a gallon in Wenatchee
• $2.93 a gallon in Moses Lake
• $2.81 a gallon in Pendleton
