Diesel Prices Show Little Movement During Holiday Weekend

The cost to fill up at the local fuel station held steady during the holiday weekend.  According to the latest figures, the national prices for a gallon of diesel increased two cents to $3.16, while Washington’s rate increased one cent to $3.52, and Oregon’s rate was unchanged at $3.38.

The anticipation is that diesel prices won’t change much as we transition into the cooler months, and heating fuel demand increases across the Eastern U.S.

Here are some of the lowest local prices:

• $3.36 a gallon in the Tri-Cities
• $3.29 a gallon in Quincy
• $3.39 a gallon in Wenatchee
• $3.39 a gallon in Pendleton
• $3.29 a gallon in Yakima
• $3.28 a gallon in Ephrata
• $3.63 a gallon in Walla Walla
• $3.35 a gallon in Moses Lake
