The trend of higher oil prices continues, pushing fuel prices across the Northwest, and across the nation higher.  According to AAA, the National average for a gallon of diesel increased this week, up two cents to $2.74.  Washington’s average held steady at $3.11 a gallon, while Oregon’s price for a gallon of diesel fell one cent to $2.92.

Gasbuddy.com says you can thank oil prices, which have rebounded in the past week for the recent increase.  In addition, oil inventories have dropped leading to diesel prices to increase slightly across the nation.  It’s not just diesel prices that have increased.  Gasoline prices across Washington have increased on average around two cents per gallon statewide.

Here are some of the lowest diesel prices we could find across the Inland Northwest:

  • $2.89 a gallon in the Tri-Cities
  • $3.09 a gallon in Walla Walla
  • $2.97 a gallon in Yakima
  • $3.19 a gallon in Quincy
  • $3.01 a gallon in Wenatchee
  • $2.89 a gallon in Moses Lake
  • $2.79 a gallon in Pendleton
