Oil prices continue to move higher, which is pushing fuel prices up.  WTI is currently in the mid-$60 a barrel range and has been trending higher over the past couple of weeks.  If that continues fuel prices are expected to march higher as we head towards warmer weather this summer.

As far as diesel prices are concerned, the national average for a gallon of diesel increased two cents to $3.10 a gallon.  Washington’s average increased three cents over the past week, to $3.42.  Meanwhile Oregon’s rate also increased three cents to $3.28 a gallon.

As far as those local pump prices are concerned:

  • $3.15 a gallon in the Tri-Cities
  • $3.19 a gallon in Wenatchee
  • $3.21 a gallon in Ephrata
  • $3.15 a gallon in Quincy
  • $3.13 a gallon in Pendleton
  • $3.29 a gallon in Yakima
  • $3.29 a gallon in Moses Lake
  • $3.27 a gallon in Walla Walla
