While oil prices have inched higher in the past couple of days, West Texas Crude continues to trade just below the $60 a barrel mark.  That’s a significant drop from the nearly $65 a barrel mark we saw just a few weeks ago.  Fuel prices are reacting cautiously.

Gasoline prices have dropped considerably, which is good news for motorists preparing for the summer drive season.  As far as diesel prices are concerned, they’ve been much slower to react.  National price for a gallon of diesel is currently at $3.09, the same rate we’ve seen for the past month.  Washington’s average held steady at $3.44 a gallon, while Oregon’s rate increased one cent to $3.30 a gallon.

Here are some of the lowest prices we could find locally:

  • $3.17 a gallon in the Tri-Cities
  • $3.19 a gallon in Wenatchee
  • $3.21 a gallon in Ephrata
  • $3.19 a gallon in Quincy
  • $3.15 a gallon in Pendleton
  • $3.35 a gallon in Moses Lake
  • $3.36 a gallon in Walla Walla
  • $3.25 a gallon in Yakima
