Fuel prices continue to trickle higher as we move in to mid-January.

 

The average for a gallon of diesel increased more than two cents in the past week, to $2.93 a gallon, meanwhile Washington’s average held steady this week at $3.15 a gallon, while Oregon’s rate increased roughly one cent to $3.05 a gallon.

 

As far as the lowest local prices we could find:

 

  • $3.06 a gallon in the Tri-Cities
  • $3.09 a gallon in Walla Walla
  • $2.99 a gallon in Yakima
  • $3.05 a gallon in Wenatchee
  • $2.98 a gallon in Quincy
  • $2.99 a gallon in Moses Lake
  • $2.79 a gallon in Pendleton
