Former Oregon Department of Agriculture Director Kay Coba was recently honored by the Oregon Association of Nurseries.  Coba received the 2017 Friends of Nurseries awarded for her efforts to promote the nursery industry not only in Oregon but regionally and nationally.  Coba was one of five people recognized by the OAN.

Coba was not only the first woman to serve as the ODA director, but she was the longest serving director, holding on to the position from 2003 to 2016.
