Technology is becoming more and more pervasive on the farm.  But if that technology doesn’t make your job, or your life easier, is it worth it?

Ryan Lepp, Product Marketing Manager for Combines at Case IH said their technology is designed with the producer in mind.  He said one of the coolest technologies they offer is Harvest Command.

“What it does is it makes changes to the settings of the combine as you go through the field," Lepp noted.  "So, say I need to make a rotor change or something change in the field the automation is going to take care of those settings for you.  So, it really takes some of the stress out of the day. And the combine automation will make the changes necessary to really improve the efficiency. I mean that's really designed really take the stress out, but also make the combine run a lot better.”

That, Lepp pointed out, leads to increase productivity.

But the technology upgrades aren’t only for the big iron.  Lepp said Case IH's mobile app, Field Ops, provides insight and data in real time.

“We can look at yield data. We can look all this remotely. So let's say I got to run to the dealer to pick up a part," Lepp added.  "I can look and see what the combine and see how much fuel is in the combine just from my phone or my iPad. Right, so I can do that remotely and see actually what the screen looks like. I can get an actual screenshot of what the operator is seeing in the combine.  Another great tool is we can do remote service updates over the air.”

Lepp said at Case IH, they have eight combine models from which producers can chose.  Learn more about the latest technology offered by Case IH by Clicking Here.
