Anderson, Lyle Elected To ECBID Leadership
The East Columbia Basin Irrigation District has new leadership. On Wednesday, the Board of Directors elected Duaine Anderson as President and Kevin Lyle as Vice President. Both men received unanimous support.
Anderson represents Division 4 and Lyle represents Division 5.
“It’s an honor to serve in this capacity. The District currently has key large construction projects related to the Odessa Groundwater Replacement Program underway, after completing the EL 86.4 delivery system last year. We’ve got great momentum and I look forward to the progress we’ll make this year,” explained Anderson.
Located in central Washington State, the East Columbia Basin Irrigation District is the largest district in the state, with authorization to irrigate 472,000 acres. Currently, 191,534 acres are assessed and managed by over 2,800 landowners within the federal Columbia Basin Project. Additionally, the District is leading the development of 87,000 acres associated with OGWRP.
