In an effort to bring care to farm workers across the Yakima Valley, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic and McDonald's of Yakima and Kittitas counties will unveil a second Ronald McDonald Care Mobile unit on Saturday.  RMHC’s Lisa Toomey told the Washington Ag Network this provides much needed care to a part of our community that doesn’t routinely go to the doctor.

“Provide medical and dental care at no cost, to the farm workers families.  So, they do well checks, they do immunizations, they do dental work.”

Last year, 3,533 students from 31 elementary and middle schools visited the first Care Mobile unit.  Saturday’s unveiling is scheduled for 1 p.m.  at the Sunnyside McDonald’s on Yakima Valley Highway.
