WSU Committed to Wine Research

The new Wine Science Center in the Tri-Cities is a great example of Washington State University working with industries in Washington and responding to opportunities according to WSU President Kirk Schulz.

And that success needs continued commitment from the university with Schulz noting that they will focus on many different aspects.

“It’s not just growing the grapes and the ag side, it’s hospitality management, it’s other programs and how that blends together. This is an industry I think, we look out in 10 years, is going to continue to be incredibly important for not just our state but Central Washington.”

Schulz noted that the Ste. Michelle Wine Science Center is among the best, if not the best in the country and world.
