Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue held the second meeting of the White House’s Task Force on Agriculture at the USDA headquarters this week.

The task force was created in April with Perdue to head the group.

“We’ve got technology issues, we’ve got infrastructure issues, we’ve got health issues, all of that. I think [President Trump] saw the USDA and the Secretary of Agriculture as the one to bring these interagencies together.”

The Task Force will continue to meet and craft recommendations on how to help the farm and rural economies to present to the White House by mid-October.
