Registration for the Washington Advancements in Viticulture and Enology, or WAVE, seminar is now open for the April 19th event.

The event focuses on research that can impact all parts of winemaking and the wine industry.

Topics will include vineyard nutrition, managing grapevine viruses and their vectors, understanding plant parasitic nematodes in eastern Washington, irrigating by cultivar and improving water efficiencies through a novel irrigation delivery system.

Washington State Wine Commission’s Melissa Hansen hopes WAVE and other similar events can raise awareness about the research being done to help the wine industry.

Registration is $15 and will likely sell out fast. To get into WAVE, go to the event website and register.
