On Friday, Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue announced a slate of Farm Service Agency and Rural Development Directors. All directors serve as appointees of President Trump.  Perdue said of the state directors that they will “help ensure USDA is offering the best customer service” to agriculture.

Oregon’s new FSA Director is Peggy Browne.  Browne comes from eastern Oregon and brings experience from the agriculture and ecology consulting industry for the last 16 years.

Washington’s new FSA Director, Brian Dansel.  Dansel served as a Ferry County Commissioner before being elected to the Washington State Senate in 2013… where he was Vice Chair of both the Senate Natural Resources Committee and the Senate Agriculture Committee.
