Washington FFA Announces Theme for Year

The Washington State FFA has announced their theme for this school year, “This Moment” all about living in the present.

In a video celebrating the theme State Vice President, and Prosser FFA member, Tye Taylor says it’s important to not obsess over what happened in the past or what could happen in the future.

“If we spend the entirety of our thought pondering the future it can become particularly dangerous. While it is important to keep our dreams in our heads and close to our hearts, we cannot sacrifice the gifts of the present for the promises of the future.”

The theme focuses on celebrating the past without getting lost in remembering it and planning for the future without obsessing over it.

Taylor also stressed the importance of today.

“Be aware of our actions in this moment for they will shape the future.”
