The first week plus of spring has been a welcomed change for many across the Northwest, especially after the February and March snow showers.

What can we expect as spring continues on?

Marilyn Lohmann, meteorologist with the National Weather Service says the outlook for April, May and June calls for above normal temperatures and above normal precipitation.

“We still have a little bit of the El Niño pattern hanging on but it’s in the springtime, and so minimal influence into our weather that we don’t really look at it, but we can expect to see those temperatures continue to warm.”

Lohmann also predicted a snowy end to our winter.
