The Washington Apple Education Foundation offers roughly $1 million every year in scholarships to high school students who are going on to college.

To make sure each high school student who is interested in getting a scholarship gives themselves the best chance to win something, WAEF does scholarship training to educate students on writing award-winning scholarship applications and other tips on making their application stand out.

The organization will travel to more than 40 schools and meet with about 4,000 students and trainings began October 24th in Wapato. The vast majority of the trainings take place in November beginning at Sunnyside Christian and Southridge High on the 1st through trainings at three locations on the 30th.
