Coming off a record year in 2016, the Washington Apple Education Foundation awarded nearly $1 million in scholarships for the 2017-18 school year.

The scholarships come from donations from the tree fruit industry to WAEF who was able to help 238 students from 24 Eastern Washington schools fulfill their dream of going to college.

And it goes beyond money, WAEF works with the students to make sure they’re able to succeed at school with a vast support network of mentors, encouragement and much more.

You can see pictures of all the students that won scholarships on WAEF’s Facebook page.
