'We know that over half of Americans are aware of MyPlate which just means that so many folks are trying to shift and change their eating to be a little bit more healthy" said USDA Deputy Under Secretary for Food, Nutrition, and Consumer Services, Stacy Dean.

She added another tool in the MyPlate suite of resources is now available to consumers: MyPlate, Alexa skill.
This digital tool, she noted, is for parents and caregivers of infants and toddlers between 4 and 24 months old, providing science-based food and nutrition-based advice through consumer's home Alexa speaker; or by phone or tablet by the free Alexa app.

"The real goal is to make sure folks understand what healthy eating looks like and make it clear that it's within reach for all of us."

Additional information on the MyPlate Alexa Skill can be found at USDA's MyPlate Website.
