USDA Grain Report Show Large Stock Numbers Nationwide
It wasn’t just the Northwest that saw large grain numbers in the latest USDA grain stock report. The markets expected some big grain numbers in the most recent USDA grain stock report, and that's what they got. For corn USDA put stocks at 1.76 billion bushels, up 29% from September 1st, first one year ago. For old crop soybeans stocks, September 1st, totaling 342 million bushels. But just like corn, U.S. soybean stocks are 29% bigger than a year ago. Finally USDA reports all wheat stocks at just under 2 billion bushels, that's 12% more than a year ago.
