The U.S. Apple Association is currently accepting applications for its 2021 Young Apple Leader class. Manager of Association Services, Matt Hendrickson, said in years past, they’ve used the program to invite professionals, between the ages of 18 and 35, back to Washington D.C. in March.

"Recently as of last year, we've expanded the program to begin in March and conclude at our annual outlook conference which typically takes place in Chicago in August. We've added additional activities that will foster and engagements throughout the months in between the two events."

He noted they encourage emerging professionals and newcomers to the industry to apply. Hendrickson added the program teaches students about the various efforts underway at USApple, but also helps those young people to grow and develop individually.

"The program is loaded with a lot of networking opportunities as well as areas where they'll gain exposure to our members. It's a great way to meet like-minded people.”

The deadline to apply is December 31st.
