The U.S. Wheat Associates has been in existence for 37 years, and in all that time they had just three presidents … until now.

Alan Tracy retired from the Presidency after 20 years of serving wheat growers and the wheat industry. He will hand the reins of the organization over to Vince Peterson who has been with USW for 32 years most recently as the Vice President of Overseas Operations.

Peterson was approved in November, but began his tenure on July 1st. Peterson says he’s optimistic about the industry noting, “The farmers we represent produce the variety and quality of wheat needed to meet rapidly growing demand around the world.”

Tracy will remain a Senior Advisor with the organization.
