Chairman of U.S. Wheat Associates Jason Scott and Western Canadian Wheat Growers Association President Levi Wood are calling for a free flow of grain in both directions in a recent op-ed in Canada’s “News Hub Nation.”

 

In the article, the two state, “Canadian farmers delivering wheat into the U.S. receive equitable treatment with grain grown south of the border,” but that U.S wheat receives the lowest grade automatically in Canada.

 

The two note that the inequity has created significant concerns in both country’s wheat industries.
