Trump Makes Ag Announcements During Friday Celebration

It was a celebration of agriculture at the White House on Friday.

“Rain or shine, no one is more greater spirit than the American farmer,” said President Trump.  “We love the American farmer.”

“The farmers, the ranchers, rural America,” noted Ag Secretary Brooke Rollins.

In addition to President Trump and Secretary Rollins, other cabinet members, and farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness representatives from across the nation during last week’s event.  The President also provided a pair of Ag-related announcements Friday.

“I'm announcing a dramatic update the renewable fuel standards for 2026 and 2027, requiring the highest volumes of renewable fuels in history," Trump said.  "I'm pleased to announce that the Small Business Administration is opening up massive new loan guarantees for farmers and food suppliers, including vegetable farmers, grain farmers, and seed farmers, cattle, pig, and poultry producers, grocery wholesalers, and many more.”
