Farm Athletes is a group dedicated to supporting NCAA college athletes from farm and ranch backgrounds.  It’s a new Name, Image, and Likeness initiative under a startup company called Tractor Tuesday.

“So what we're trying to accomplish with the Farm Athletes Initiative is any farm or ranch student-athlete that's participating at the NCAA level, we want you to help represent our brand, being tractor Tuesday, and we're offering NIL deals to these great student-athletes all over the country,” said Zach Bosle, CEO of Farm Athletes.

“So if you're a student-athlete, they simply would register tractortuesday.com," Bosle continued.  "We have a link at the top of the site to direct the farm-athletes to submit their information. Once submitted, someone within our team at Tractor Tuesday would review that information. We reach out to the student-athlete. We provide the contract. Generally speaking, most NCAA programs have a representative on campus to help these student-athletes with the NIL offers that are presented. We've had very little feedback from these representatives. Everything seems very straightforward. We're offering one-year deals. Then, they sign, we cut the check, get them paid, and they're a part of the Tractor Tuesday family as being a farm athlete.”

Bosle said there aren’t a lot of requirements for the students to be a brand ambassador for Farm Athletes.

“No, generally speaking, if you're among the athletic department within your college or university, they keep these student athletes where they need to be, so as long as they're actively on a roster, they're participating, they come from a farm or ranch background, as far as we're concerned at Tractor Tuesday, they are eligible to be a part, to be a brand ambassador, and sign a NIL deal with us.

“For the casual listener that's in the ag world, what is Tractor Tuesday? Well, tractortuesday.com is probably the most revolutionary online auction platform ever to start here, and we're excited to offer what we offer with our technology. But just as we're enabling these great student-athletes to give them a little bit of recognition in this space, we're also providing and enabling every producer and equipment owner the opportunity to vouch, to represent, and to speak on behalf of their own equipment, literally be their own auctioneer in a format that's ultimately as fair as it can be.”

Auctions are already up and running at Tractor Tuesday's Website.
