RAMP-Up Act Would Increase Packing Capacity, Supporters Say
The Requiring Assistance to Meat Processors for Upgrading Plants, or RAMP-UP Act, seeks to increase the nation’s meat packing capacity. The bipartisan House bill was recently introduced by Oklahoma Republican Frank Lucas and Minnesota Democrat, and Ag Chairman Collin Peterson.
