Grape lovers can take heart that it does look like there will be plenty of table grapes available for your home this year according to the USDA.

Economist Agnes Perez says their forecast is pretty positive mostly because the largest producing state holds a positive outlook.

“What goes to the fresh market is mostly table grapes and because California’s table grape production is fairly flat, but previous crops were fairly large, there will still be ample supplies in the fresh market of grapes this marketing season.”

U.S. grape production is forecasted to fall two percent compared to last year which would be the lowest of the past five years.
