Registration is now open for USDA’s first ever outbound trade mission to Thailand.  In preparation for this groundbreaking trip, USDA will provide in-depth market briefings by Foreign Agricultural Service staff and other regional trade experts.  According to the Department of Ag, buyers and industry leaders in Thailand are eager to meet American agricultural businesses.  While in Thailand, U.S. agribusiness representatives will take part in business-to-business meetings and learn about local and regional market conditions.

According to the Oregon Department of Agriculture, Thailand continues to be a major export location for the state.  In 2022, over $40 billion in exports were destined for Thailand.  Oregon agricultural products for this trade mission include: dairy products, food preparations, seafood, tree nuts, fresh fruits, chocolate and cocoa, beef, wine, distilled spirits, hops, beer and food ingredients.

The deadline to register is Tuesday October 29th.  The trade mission will run February 3rd-6th.
