RDO will host a Hay and Forage Clinic Wednesday January 29th at their Sunnyside location on Midvale Rd.  Erin Hightower said the three hour clinic will be unique, as each hour will focus on one specific topic.

  • Hour 1 will focus on swathers, the latest technology as well as proper maintenance.
  • Hour 2 will focus on bailer technology.
  • And for the final hour, the clinic will focus on the forage harvester.  Hightower noted the technology on the harvester is mobile, making this the new Swiss army knife for the hay industry.

She added while each hour will focus on different equipment, one constant theme, technology.

“We need to be more efficient in technology is the route to go to be able to be able to make decisions that are based off math, and science, and not based off of what we think might be going on out there.  That’s what we want to do.  It’s getting harder and harder to farm an acre profitably and we’re going to make sure to help you those decisions right on so you make those decisions right the first time.”

Wednesday’s clinic runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  To learn more, visit your local RDO dealership, or visit RDO's Website.
