The Inland Northwest is expecting a lot of rain in the forecast later this week with possibilities listed from Wednesday night through Sunday according to the National Weather Service.

According to B.J. Thurlby with Northwest Cherries, as long as the temperature stays below 90 degrees the rain won’t damage the crops with this far away from harvest.

Last year there were 20 days of rain between May 15th and July 30th which was the harvest season.
