Tuesday was a soggy day for much of Eastern Washington.  Some portions of the Palouse reported up to an inch of rain in 24 hours.  That was more the exception than the rule.

Dennis Hull, with the National Weather Service told the Washington Ag Network he expects the unsettled weather, and stormy conditions for a majority of this w week.

"And it looks like it's going to continue to be fairly active with frequent weather systems moving through the area, starting Wednesday night and again, late Thursday, maybe Saturday night, so another quarter to a half inch in most areas."

Hull added it could get cold this weekend.

"On Saturday morning, the skies are, it looks like clearing out and winds will be light, which will allow these temperatures to fall off.  Saturday might be one of the better days to do some spraying because of the lighter winds."

Hull says if you have trees or vegetation that’s susceptible to freeze damage it will be important to be proactive later this week.
