President Trump to Address Farm Bureau Convention

The American Farm Bureau announced this week that President Trump will be the featured speaker at the 99^th Annual Convention January 5^th through the 10^th in Nashville.

AFBF President Zippy Duvall said in a statement that they are honored and that, “President Trump has said all along that he would make sure agriculture has a seat at the table when it comes to the top issues facing America’s farmers and ranchers. Now, it is our privilege to reserve a spot for him at our podium.”

Duvall says the fact that President Trump will speak to the farmers should be a taken as a sign of high regard in which he holds America’s farmers and ranchers.

The Farm Bureau says the speech comes at a time when producers are experiencing prolonged economic challenges across the farm sector where profits have fallen and many farmers have seen declines in equity.
