President: Tariffs Will Open Markets

On Tuesday, President Trump told a crowd in Kansas City that tariffs were the right thing to do for the American farmer and worker.  During his rally, he told veterans that many of those counties that have been hit with billions of dollars in tariffs are not happy.

“They don't want to have those tariffs put on them, they're all coming to see us, and the farmers will be the biggest beneficiary, watch, we're opening up markets, you watch what's going to happen, just be a little patient.”

Earlier in the day, the President tweeted out that tariffs are the greatest and will help the United States get a fair deal.
