Oregon Abnormally Dry For February

Oregon continues to dry out.  According to the latest drought monitor numbers, over 38% of the Beaver State is under a D1, or moderate drought designation.  The impacted area stretches from La Grande to Nevada and California boarders.  In addition, 76% of Oregon is considered abnormally dry for this time of year.  Meanwhile, Washington’s figures have not changed.

Just over 8% of the state is considered abnormally dry, in a stretch running from the southern Cascades to just south of Ellensburg.
