NRCS To Host Workshop On Protecting Farmland While In Production

Washington’s NRCS will hold a workshop next month on the upcoming Fiscal Year 2027 sign-up for the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program.  The program provides funding to help protect farmland, rangeland and grassland, while keeping working farms in agricultural production. 

NRCS staff, along with FSA representatives, Land Trust Alliance and Columbia Land Trust, will cover application requirements, eligibility and tips for a successful application. 

The on-line November 18th workshop runs from 9 to 11:30 a.m.  While registration is not required, NRCS stressed the meeting will not be recorded.  To participate:
