I mean, you could make this at home but why would you want to when someone else will do all the work for you?

The Willow on 35th and Tieton is a fun place to grab breakfast or lunch, they have amazing coffee drinks, and fun options on the menu that you won't find anywhere else in Yakima.

The last time I was there I ordered the Grilled Apricot Brie sandwich which I was a big fan of. They had several other sandwich options which always gives me reason to return.

The last time I was there I grabbed the French Dip which was fine but, to me, the highlight of my meal was I also ordered the Caramel Apple Board off the appetizer menu.

They have a few charcuterie platter options including a full platter, an individual-sized one, a hummus board, a prezcuterie board with a Bavarian pretzel, meats, cheeses and pistachios (I've gotta try that next time) but the caramel apple board stood out to me this time.

Granny Smith Apple slices, peanut butter, chocolate chips and caramel. I didn't know how it was presented, like, if the slices were by themselves and they'd be dipping cups for each side item or if it was a bowl of slices with everything piled on top.

As it turns out, it's a pile of toppings that you just kinda scoop into the apples and made for a very fun treat.

This goes for $11 as of writing this. Could you make this at home? Again, sure, but you don't get the awesome Willow ambience nor do you have to do the dishes afterwards. Definitely a fun thing to order to bring a smile to everyone's face. That's what it's all about.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
