We're six months into the bipartisan infrastructure law and it's efforts to improve our nation's various forms of infrastructure, both rural and urban.

"We have funded over 4300 projects already, touching over 3200 communities across all 50 States.  In the last 6 months we pushed out a 110 billion dollars," noted White House Senior Advisor and Federal Infrastructure Coordinator, Mitch Landrieu.

Some examples of BIL focus points in rural America include:

"Climate smart infrastructure, watershed and flood mitigation, rebuilding dams, making sure that we can move goods up-and-down the waterways of our country, and then with high speed internet, making sure that folks and rural areas can work through precision agriculture, tele-medicine."

Rural communities seeking information about BIL programs and their application processes can access the White House Rule Playbook On-line.
