House Ag Chairman To Visit The Northwest

House Ag Committee Chairman Mike Conaway will tour Central Washington Thursday.  Conaway and Representative Dan Newhouse will tour Roche Fruit’s packing house in Yakima this Thursday afternoon, speaking with staff about the state’s apple industry.  From there, the two Republicans will meet for a roundtable with local Ag leaders, discussing issues that impact local farmers.

Follwing that, the day wraps up with a tour of John I. Haas, the nations leading supplier of hops.  This marks two consecutive days in Washington for Conaway.  He spend much of Wednesday with Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers, touring the Spokane and Pullman areas.
