Farmers Cooperative Creamery Joining Northwest Dairy Association

Farmers Cooperative Creamery member approved a deal to expand their alliance with the Northwest Dairy Alliance.

According to a press release the two organizations have been working together informally on several programs including back-up processing and marketing raw bulk milk in Washington and Oregon.

Part of the agreement is that FCC members, for the next 60 days, can join the NDA a cooperative of nearly 500 farmers shipping nearly 9 billion pounds of milk annually.

The FCC plant in McMinnville is not included in the agreement.
